As a trusted home builder for more than 20 years, we have developed and refined our customer care process to ensure that owners like you are involved at every critical stage of construction. It’s a chance for you to see the quality materials and disciplined approach to construction that go into the creation of your new home.

It’s also a chance for you to enjoy the experience of watching what was once just an idea, take shape and transform into your dream home.

But the process doesn’t end with construction. We’ll still be there after you move in to make sure that your new home meets and exceeds all of your expectations!

Here are the steps we follow on every home we build:

Step One: Pre-Construction Meeting

Before construction begins, you will be guided through the entire building process, starting with a meeting to introduce the construction team, and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions about the construction timetable. 

Pre-Drywall Frame Walk-Through

Prior to drywall installation, a Yakobovich Homes construction professional will provide a walk-through reviewing electrical requirements, and allowing you to inspect the inner workings of your home. View its quality components, verify optional features you have selected, and ask questions.

Step Three: Quality Assurance Inspection

Before your final walk-through, Yakobovich Homes conducts its own quality control check to ensure everything is in proper working order and meets our quality standards. At this time, any needed repairs or touch-ups are made, and the home is thoroughly cleaned in preparation for the Pre-Closing Orientation. 

Step Four: Pre-Closing Orientation

When your home is completed, a Yakobovich Homes consultant will take you on a room-by-room tour to demonstrate the quality features and operating procedures for all aspects of your home, and will explain our service procedures. 

Step Five: 30-Day Follow-Up

Once you are all settled, we will check in either by letter, phone, or email to ensure your continued satisfaction. 

Step Six: Ongoing Service

We will touch base approximately six months after possession to address any concerns you may have and we encourage you to use the Service Request form on the website if anything comes up before then. 

Step Seven: 11-Month Follow-Up Visit

Eleven months after closing, we reconfirm our commitment to satisfaction by again taking the time to handle any required warranty work, discuss issues, or answer any questions that you may have.
